The first thing I noticed was the blue shutter and the edge of that window. And then the wall and its textures. And then the angle/POV. And then I saw the stone path beside the wall. And then, as my eye was fully engaged and drawn in, I discovered that mountain peak in the background, hiding there in plain view. This is a wonderful composition, FD! Bravo.

@Viewfinder: thanks Viewfinder! It's amazing how simple shots can work in a complex way. I think our eyes can sense intuitively when something is right or good but sometimes it takes some thinking to explain it. I have to admit I took the shot due to the amazing blue - there is no post-processing here - it was like someone with that startling shade of blue eye colour. The composition was very simple, but you're right - it is layered.
