You don't see many rugby shots on aminus so thought I would post one! This was one of the season's best games (according to people who go to more matches than me!) and featured London Wasps versus Clermont Auvergne in a very important European Heineken Cup match. Wasps played stunning rugby in the first half only to see the French team come back strongly in the second half, and almost snatch victory. I had a good seat and was able to take lots of photos but this one captures the tension and physicality of this match (and the sport in general) as I see it.

I agree with you, You don't enough rugby shot on Aminus. Tremendous action shot and really great tackle. A picture like this one is def not easy to do. What focal did you used? It is a pity for Clermont to finish 3rd as they offer great rugby this year, but congratulation to the Wasps

@Laurent: Hi Laurent - it was 300mm f4 lens, using 1600 ISO, I think. The group is not over yet! Wasps play Llanelli and Munster before the end of January. I think Clermont can still go through.
